Faith-based Comunity Youth Groups


Oakbrook Church (Reston)
�Crossfire� meets almost every Friday night for fun, games, events and worship. There�s always a youth band, prizes, opportunities for worship, and a chance to meet new friends.
Middle and High School Students

Southview Baptist (Herndon)
From Bible studies every Wednesday evening to monthly recreational activities such as swimming or laser tag, and major seasonal events � like a summer mission trip or youth camp, a winter ski retreat, and a fall leadership team outing � there�s always something for everyone at the Youth Ensemble.
Middle and High School Students

Temple Baptist (Herndon)
Get involved with the chorus, the Youth Rally, go carting, sports, or travel on a mission trip.

Reston Bible Church
From Shepherd�s groups, to outreach activities and from mission trips to a weekend bike trip, there�s always something to do at Reston Bible Church. There�s even a summer camp!

St. John Neumann (Reston)
The senior high youth group is open to non-parishioners.
The junior high youth group is limited to parishioners of St. John Neumann�s.

St. Thomas a Beckett (Reston)
With various activities year round, this group is open to non-parishioners.

United Christian Parish of Reston
With a continuing commitment to providing nurturing experiences for young people, UCP�s youth group has activities ranging from worship leadership to retreats and lock-ins; mission trips to weekly Youth Group and outreach programs.

St. Anne�s Episcopal Church (Reston)
The youth group provides a safe and educational environment in which 7th to 12th graders can grow, learn, and enhance their faith - and have a "cool" time doing it.  They meet twice a month on Sundays. 
Activities typically include 10 to 12 service projects a year such as the 30-hour famine that raises awareness of hunger and poverty issues; social events such as an overnighter at the Worldgate Athletic Club; discussion programs on teen issues; challenging and rewarding mission trips; and eating pizza -- lots of pizza.
Ages 12 � 18

Church of the Epiphany (Herndon)
The youth group meets every Sunday evening to worship and plan upcoming events. Events range from mission trips to outreach programs.

St. Timothy�s (Herndon)
The youth group is involved in various activities throughout the year, from youth retreats to outreach programs.
Middle and High School Students


All Dulles Area Muslim Society (Sterling)
There are many groups for young people to join:  The Adams Girls Group, Adams Boys, Scout Troops, and even a Muslim Sports League.
All groups provide a place for young people to interact, learn, and have fun. The groups also give young people opportunities to show leadership skills through leading discussions, giving presentations, and organizing events.  Activities include ice-skating, rock climbing, horseback riding, canoeing, bowling, movies, and parties.

Northern Virginia Hebrew Congregation (Reston)
The youth group provides a fun and educational environment for young people of the Jewish faith.
Activities include: Art; cooking; current events discussions; and topics central to Jewish life. There are also Family Shabbat Dinners and Junior Congregationalist Services.
Ages 14 �18

Congregation Beth Emeth (Herndon)
Fun, friendship, and fulfillment -- Beth Emeth has something for everyone. Dance, play, eat, sing, pray, socialize, travel, learn, make new friends, help repair the world � whatever your interests, whatever your background � Beth Emeth is the place to do it all.

Christ the Servant (Reston)
This youth group provides a fun and safe environment for young people. There are outings to Six Flags, Lock-ins, Movie Nights, Game Nights, and more.

Good Shepherd (Reston)
With a continuing commitment to providing nurturing experiences, Good Shepherd�s youth group activities include worship leadership, retreats and lock-ins, mission trips, weekly meetings, outreach programs, and outings such as ski trips and trips to Six Flags. There�s club 56 for 5th and 6th graders, a Junior High Youth Group, and a Senior High Youth Group. Good Shepherd youth groups are open to non-parishioners.

Harvest Christian Fellowship (Reston)
With Bible studies on Sunday morning and meetings Sunday evenings, Harvest Christian Fellowship provides a fun and educational environment for young people to learn and grow.

Reston Presbyterian Church
Meetings are held twice a month, both for the Senior and Junior High Youth groups. Activities vary from divided guy and girl nights to game nights. Once a month, they hold special events. Recent events have included: a trip to the Maize Maze, themed games, and a video scavenger hunt with Upstream. Upcoming events include a winter ski trip and a weekend youth retreat.
Classes are offered for young people that help develop an understanding of what it means to be a "communing member" of the church.

Trinity Presbyterian Church (Herndon)
With a continuing commitment to providing nurturing experiences, Trinity�s youth groups have activities ranging from worship leadership to retreats and lock-ins; mission trips in Kentucky to weekly Youth Group and outreach programs.
